To age in place, certain basics such as groceries, medical care, and house maintenance need to be available. Transportation should be accessible. Interaction with other people is imperative. If any combination of those factors isn’t working, a senior is at much greater risk of depression, isolation, and poor health. New ways of driving, keeping track of medications, communicating, and keeping isolation at bay are evolving every day. Those of us moving into our later years are seeing solutions we never thought possible before. And we’re looking forward to what may come.
